The I.D. Method is designed to increase the participants’ use of English modes of expression and develop their spontaneous interaction skills. The more confidence the participants develop in their ability to communicate effectively in English, the more spontaneous they become, and the more convincing they will be in their personal and professional communications in English.
The I.D. Method is specifically structured to:
- Facilitate spontaneous communication in English.
- Perfect the use of professional and daily vocabulary to improve client relationships in English.
- Sensitize Francophones to the cultural differences as well as the differences in meaning, intention, and emotion expressed by English modes of expression: tonality, word phrasing, word emphasis, volume, behavior, etc.
- Allow Francophones to evaluate these differences and respond appropriately in a spontaneous manner.
- Encourage individual personal expression (jokes, sarcasm, slang, sincerity) to allow participants to communicate with ease in English.
- Allow participants to utilize the English language with confidence and communicate naturally and efficiently to attain their professional and personal goals by participating in exercises designed to simulate real life situations with professional English-speaking actors (Role Play).
- Allow participants to develop their negotiating, directing, managerial and communication skills in various situations of stress.
- Offer participants individual coaching and training in the areas of Public Speaking and Presentations.
- Augment each individual’s confidence and efficiency in English, regardless of their initial level of competency.
