Lauren Alexandre-Lasseur began her artistic career in Los Angeles as an actress, then went on to direct and produce theatre while studying and practicing law. Today, as an Artistic Director of post-synchronization and dubbing in France, she is responsible for the English versions of numerous French films (Amelie Poulain, Brotherhood of the Wolf) as well as over 100 episodes of series television in both English & French. With a degree in French and Linguistics from UCLA, Lauren also works as a bilingual theatre professor and an artistic & linguistic coach, specializing in acting technique in English and "voice and character creation". Continuing her work in the theatre, Lauren is also a playwright and director. In 2005, she wrote and directed "WEAVE", an original theatre piece, in London, and is currently preparing several plays for the 2006-2007 season in Paris.
